About Me

Michael Sondgeroth: This is my 2nd year teaching math at West. I spent the first 32 years of my teaching career at U-High. For nearly 30 of those years, I have taught some level of Geometry, ranging from basic to accelerated This year, I have added Geometry in Construction my resume.. I really enjoy teaching this subject and hopefully I can convey my passion to the students. I'm returning to the Pre-Algebra classroom as well, where my co-teacher (Miss Franks) and I are excited about the curricular adaptations we have planned for the upcoming year. Outside the classroom, I supervise an FMP home room and will be assisting the girls basketball and softball teams again this year. Some of you may know my lovely wife ... she is one of the fine counselors here at West Mi - Se)! We have three grown children, two grandsons (a rambunctious 4-yr old and newborn) and an 11-yr old blind golden retriever.
