Pre-Algebra - We spent the entire period working on Part 1 of our quiz covering Pythagorean Thm and Probability/Odds. Today, we worked in groups to complete a HW worksheet covering probability and odds.
No HW for Monday.
Assessment Alert - On Monday, we will complete Part 2 Of the Pythagorean Thm / Probability & Odds quiz ... we will again work in groups, this time completing a HW worksheet covering the Pythagorean Thm. On Tuesday of next week, we will individually complete a quiz covering BOTH topics. Each group section will account for 25% of your quiz grade ... the individual portion will account for 50% of your quiz grade.
Geometry - We spent the period working on problems involving the surface area and volume of 3D solids, focusing on their role in the calculation of density (T215). Click here for today's note packet.
HW for Monday - Complete the T215 Density HW Worksheet that was distributed in class today.
Assessment Alert - We will complete a Target Assessment in class on Tuesday, May 8 covering everything related to our discussions of area and volume (T210-215).
