Pre-Algebra - We completed our discussion of  discussion of Sec. 8.3, focusing on the slopes of horizontal (slope = 0) and vertical (slope is undefined) lines.

HW for Thursday - Complete the PINK Sec. 8.3 b HW worksheet that was distributed in class today.

Assessment Alert - We will complete a quiz in class on Friday, March 23, covering everything that we have done in Ch. 8 up to this point.  Minimally, that will include Sec. 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3.

Pre-Algebra - We began our discussion of Sec. 8.3, focusing on the formula for calculating the slope of a line passing through two points that lie on the line.

Assessment Alert - We will complete a quiz in class on Friday, March 23, covering everything that we have done in Ch. 8 up to this point.  Minimally, that will include Sec. 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3.


Geometry - We continued our discussion of parabolas (T209), reviewing 6 basic attributes of a parabola: direction/size, vertex, axis, p-value, focus and directrix.
