Assessment Alert - We should be completing a quiz covering Sec. 1.4 - 1.6 in class next Friday, Sept. 8.
Geometry - We began our in class discussion of Task 1 today, focusing on the different forms for writing the equation of a line (point/slope, slope/intercept, standard) and use slopes to determine the relationship between two lines (parallel, coinciding, intersecting, perpendicular)

This sheet should be completed turned in by the end of the hour on Wednesday. This worksheet will be graded on both completeness and correctness ... students will receive a 5 of 5 if they turn in a completed worksheet and can receive up to 3 additional points based on the number of correct responses. Students choosing NOT to partake of this opportunity will have a "missed assignment" posted in Skyward to signify their missed opportunity to help their grade.

Pre-Algebra - We completed our review in preparation for Monday's assessment (quiz) covering Sec. 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. The focus of this assessment will be on understanding expressions and equations and evaluating both numeric (PEMDAS) and variable (substitute and simplify) expressions.
