We complete our final target assessment of the semester - Quiz 35 - covering Targets 215, 216, and 217.

Students were given a review packet to help the prepare for our final assessments.

Additionally, student may want to review this set of notes from second semester.

Pre-Algebra - Friday, May 10

We were running a shortened schedule today, so we only had 15 minutes in Pre-Alg today.  Students worked on one of two activities ... completing MAP testing or completing the T17.1 / 17.2 PINK Guided Practice that was distributed in class yesterday.

No HW for Monday.

Assessment Alert - We are tentatively scheduled to complete our first attempt of the Unit 17 Target Assessment in class on Friday, May 17.

Pre-Algebra - Thursday, May 9

We spent the period discussing perfect squares and square roots (T 17.1) and the first part of simplifying radicals (T 17.1, pt 1).

Pre-Algebra - Wednesday, May 8

We finished up MAP Testing today.  Though this assessment does not affect a student's Pre-Alg grade, Unit 5 places a significant emphasis on these results when placing students into a Math class for next year.

When finished with MAP testing, students were given an opportunity to work on other school work or complete their Guided Notes for Target 17.1 - Perfect Squares and Square Roots.

HW for Thursday - Watch the Target 17.1 Video Lesson and complete the accompanying Guided Notes in the Unit 17 notes packet.  You have TWO videos to watch for T 17.1 ...
