Pre-Algebra - We discussed Sec. 1.4 in class today, focusing n set of numbers (natural, whole, integers) and absolute value (positive distance from zero on a number line).
HW for Friday - Complete the Sec. 1.4 HW worksheet that was distributed in class today.
Assessment Alert - We should be completing a quiz covering Sec. 1.4 - 1.6 in class next Friday, Sept. 8.
Geometry - We began our in class discussion of Task 1 today, focusing on the different forms for writing the equation of a line (point/slope, slope/intercept, standard) and use slopes to determine the relationship between two lines (parallel, coinciding, intersecting, perpendicular)
