Pre-Algebra - We continued our discussion of basic equation solving, using the Addition and Subtraction Properties of Equality to solve equations involving decimals (Sec. 3.5)
HW - We completed the Sec. 3.4 HW during the first 15 minutes of class. Students were allowed to use their notes and calculators and get assistance from me or other students ... if they chose to do so.
Assessment Alert - We will complete a quiz covering Sec. 3.4 - 3.6 in class next Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Geometry - We continued our preliminary discussion of topics related to Target 10, focusing on the relationships of angles formed by parallel lines.
HW for Friday - Complete the PINK T-10 Parallel Lines and Transversals Worksheet that was distributed in class today. It will be collected at the start of the period on Friday.
Assessment Alert - We will complete Quiz #8 in class on Monday, October 23. This assessment covers:
* Target 6 - Rotations (final attempt)
* Target 7 - Symmetry (final attempt)
* Target 8 - Predicting Rigid Motion (3rd attempt)
* Target 9 - Proof thru Rigid Motion (2nd attempt)
